Spring ILP Meetings
Students, families and faculty will be meeting on March 29th and 30th for Spring ILP meetings. In these meetings, students reflect on their Individual Learning Plan (ILP) goals - both their areas of strength and areas of challenge. They make a plan for addressing the areas of challenging over the next quarter, with the team providing support structures in helping the student meet these goals.

Lighthouse Soars in Statewide Rankings - K-8 Earns a 10 out of 10 in Similar Schools, High School Earns an 8 out of 10
Each year the State of California takes the Lighthouse API data and compares our work against the work of schools across the state. They then generate two state rankings: one for how we compare to all schools in the state and one that compares us to similar schools in the state (schools that serve similar populations of students to ours). For the 2007-08 school year, the K-8 statewide ranking was a 5 out of 10 (up from 2 the previous year) and our statewide similar schools ranking was a 10 out of 10 (up from 5 the previous year)! In addition, we had great growth and achievement at the high school level as well - our statewide ranking was a 4 out of 10 (up from 2 the previous year) and our statewide similar schools ranking was an 8 out of 10 (we were too small to have one the previous year)! The entire Lighthouse community is truly “On the Move.”
