LCCS students are expected to not only be equipped with the content
knowledge and academic skills, but are also expected to possess
habits that will enable them to be lifelong learners in the 21st
century. By the end of their LCCS experience, students will have
amassed a set of habits, based upon the LCCS Guiding Principles
that will enable lifelong learning. LCCS students will compile
a reflective journal or portfolio that highlights their ability
in each of the following areas:
- Collaboration
- Inquiry
- Persistence
- Personal Responsibility
- Civic Responsibility
- Reflection
HABIT BREAKOUT
Collaboration
Students will engage in cooperative work and demonstrate effective
collaboration skills, including conflict resolution.

Inquiry
Students will maintain a natural curiosity by demonstrating the
ability to ask a variety of questions to further develop their
understanding of the world.

- What your future interests and passions are and how they
were shaped by your educational experience
Persistence
Students will demonstrate and recognize the value of perseverance
when striving for their goals.

- Also include all of reflective summary of all of your ILPs.
Personal Responsibility
Students will develop self-motivation tools and a strong sense
of personal identity in the context of our multicultural and technological
world. Additionally, students will demonstrate habits that maintain
their physical and emotional wellness.
